Courage is a rare quality that separate outstanding people from other talented people who are not successful. Consider Erica Long's revelation ,"Everyone has a talent , what is rare is the courage to follow the talent to the dark places where it leads" A successful man is a courageous person who believes that there is something inside him that cannot be destroyed by circumstance in his pursuit of a definite purpose . I am strongly of the opinion that a purpose becomes definite when it is pursued with what you contain, not because of the degrees you obtained. Most of those rated among the World's richest people did not have the privilege of acquiring acquiring College degrees. Rather they courageously used what was contained in them to obtain what they desired. They made riches beyond their expectation.
I do not discourage acquisition of college degrees, but I hate seeing "Educated" people languishing in abject poverty because of lack of courage they should use to change or challenge the limitations placed upon them.. When you join Courage to College degrees you experience a ground breaking success. The recession period as has been experienced in the Globe is characterized with difficulties and challenges. A time when college degree holders cue up for nothing but white- collar job for pay check due to lack of courage. The world over lost a lot of individual Talents to white-collar jobs because the trend is to graduate and get a job rather than putting their various talents to great use.
Dreams:The attitude of having a big dream inspires a man to doing great things. The successful people in the World are those who could subdue the habit of looking for excuses during their bad days of beginning in the environment hostile to their dreams. Woodrow Wilson said, "We grow by dreams . All big men are dreamers. Some us let our dreams die; but others nourish and protect them through bad days and light always come." A great future belong to young men and women who can nurture and protect their dreams through their bad days of little beginning without looking for excuses. A Nigerian writer, Vincent Ibeh says, " It was my ability to overlook excuses for failure when there was no white-collar job for me that helped me to nurture and nourish my dream of writing. I had to overlook the limits that the lack of white -collar job could impose on me when I remembered the words of Pierre Teilhard De Chardin: "Our duty is to proceed as if limits to our ability do not exist"............................... I could vividly remember how my cousin mocked me and told me that I was not serious simply because the only language she could understand then was graduate and get a white -collar job which was not forth- coming". Everyone has limits to her Dreams but only those who are wise and determined that live their dreams. The weak and feeble minded abandon their dreams for one criticisms or the other. I have observed that the art of doing nothing by a man is usually caused by fear of criticisms. Elbert Hubbard warned ," To avoid criticism; do nothing , be nothing ". Henry Ward Beecher remarked;" I don't like these cold, precise and perfect people who in order not to speak wrong , never speak at all, and in order not to do wrong, never do anything at all". Dream takes you through trial and error process of leaning and doing things. Successful men passed through this root. According to Herbert Spenser, the great aim of Education is not knowledge but action. Some people know and act while some know and do not act because they lack courage and dreams. John Maxwell wrote, " Successful people have the courage to take action while others hesitate". All achievers are action oriented people. That is why I stand to support Benjamin Disraeli who said, "while action might not always bring happiness, there is no happiness without action ". So whatever your dreams might be , take action today on the right direction . You have nothing to lose but everything to gain.
Planning and Execution: Action when planned and properly directed results to happiness. Let us learn from Allen Mackenzie who says, "Action without planning is the cause of every failure". It's is already a well known saying that he who fails to plan already plans to fail. Start small today plan your life so that for ever you will be immune d to failure. It does not matter who you are or where you come from. What is important here is who you are inside of you , your dreams , your aspirations , your strength and weaknesses. Some once said , "men don't plan to be failure, they only fail to plan to be successful"what you will see hence forth are ideas and business Opportunity that you will use to plan your life in order to migrate from poverty to prosperity. Like Mark Solomon remarked,"some ideas are so powerful that they can leave you forever changed ". The ideas and opportunity posted in this blog could leave anyone forever changed especially our young beginners who want to start small and end great. Dream big , fix your guess on things that will make a difference rather than seeking the safe path of mediocrity. Vincent Ibeh a writer, wrote, " I have discovered that the major cause of mediocrity and poverty among our people could be traceable to their habit of using their income to buy luxuries rather than assets and this habit is a practical manifestation of the art of low aim in life". To me Vincent has said it all . The question now is which class do You belong to ? The dreamers or Mediocre ?
